  • What's the deal with my inconsistant spelling?!

    ____German vowels with ulmauts, (ö, ä, or ü), can be spelled with an "e" behind them, when Anglicized. In the absence of UTF-8 character sets, or when I'm being lazy, I will spell it Goedel, as opposed to Gödel.

    This also applies to:

  • Erwin Schödinger,
  • NOT Georg F. Händel: he was also British, so he didn't use the ae.
